  3. I assumed this only affects terror mission, not crash mission. But I might be wrong.
  4. It's a very interesting mod you've concieved Kabill. That is somehow what I expected to do, but with some additional features. I wish terror and base attack mission to happend earlier (around 15th of september). I also wish to reduce the range of dropships, and reduce the penalty of failed terror mission. I'll provide extra reward for saving civilians in terrors and crash missions. By reducing the range of dropships and having terror missions earlier, I intend to make the schedule of secondary and third base critical. About improving rewards on crash mission. I assume the lines are: <crashsiteFundingBonus value="false" comment="Controls whether doing crash sites grants a relations bonus with the region" /><crashsiteFundingModifier value="1.0" comment="If relations bonus for crash sites is enabled, the bonus is the shootdown bonus multiplied by this value" /> If I set crashsiteFundingBonus to TRUE, I'll improve my funding modifier by 1.0 per alien down. Is there a way to improve it by saving cevilians/local forces too ? I already managed to reduce the range of ships, so all I have to do now is to edit the AM_terror and AM_baseAttack files along with the UfoContents files. Is there a way I could make my mod compatible with yours ? I don't wish one to override the others.

The default file for AM_BaseAttack sets: Ticker: 200 Escort Chance: 500 Chance: 100 Once per Wave: true m:airplane.alien.corvette 0 100 m:airplane.alien.landingship 350 100 m:airplane.alien.carrier 600 100 e:airplane.alien.fighter 0 100 e:airplane.alien.heavyfighter 350 100 e:airplane.alien.interceptor 600 100 So there should be one BaseAttack mission every wave (chance 100%) and only one (Once per Wave) from ticker 200 to the end of the game. From ticker 0 to 349, the Corvette is used along with an escort of fighters From ticker 350 to 599 it's landing ship with heavyfighters From ticker 600 to End, it's carrier with interceptor If I'm right about the chance %, why is the escort chance set to 500 instead of 100 ? Beside, would setting Once per Wave to false trigger more than one terror per wave ?
  6. Hi, could you explain the behaviour of AM_* files ? I'd like to make terrors and base attacks to happend more frequently, and earlier in the game.

  9. Hi, I just ran through a mission, suffered some damages and spent some amo. I chained to another mission without comming back to base, and my soldiers are completely healed and weapon loaded. I guess it was'nt the case some build ago.

  13. Hi, I didn't knew where to put it so... The buzzard armor misses sprites when one uses grenades, explosives or medikit.

  15. basicaly, as long as we keep the spreadsheets clean, and we have backups on our PC, the mess is not an issue. BTW, about backup. Chris mentioned me he includd 3 of my maps (indus's) by mistake in the game. As it may happen again, I suggest we keep backup somwher of the stuff he includes, in case it would be removed, or whatever.
  16. well, an open map can be very easy to deal with if you fight inaccurate aliens (sebbies, plasmapistols...). On the opposite, a close map with only sebbies and reapers could be hellish. I think that both design are valuable, and does'nt need to fetch with all alien types. I kinda enjoy "very easy" missions between two hard missions. Who did not enjoy the little scout filled with floaters between a muton terror and a etheral base attack in XCOM:EU-1994 ? I think we need both design, or a continuum from very claustrophobic to very open. I intend to create a middleeast bazzar map, to have a claustrophobic map in ME.
  17. I just checked the map which are now included to the game, and updated the v18.5 zip. It now only contains maps which are not native to Xenonauts. @Chris: I don't know which you did "scan" and which you didn't, so I suggest you re-scan this folder (14 maps left). My next submissions will be commited in a separated folder, easier for you to scan, so it's the last time you might have to double check my work.
  18. I believe Chris once said that he wanted every tileset to have a "spirit". If I remember well, he wanted industrial tileset to be more close-combat oriented, and desert tileset to be more open-field oriented. I guess the community map pack could (and should) propose this kind of alternative, if the game does not.

  22. Thanks, both of you I just proposed something in the community map thread, to make things easier for us, and for you. Moreover, I reuploaded my pack. Some map were not properly named, so if you downloaded it before ... now (see time on the post), re-download it before using.
