  1. you guys are the goddamn reincarnate evil. corvette crash site: containing the entry route quite easily, until FROM NOWHERE pop up the alpha prime beast, i just panicked (and most of my men too, surprisingly) and rushed all of them to the chinook. guess what? HE GODDAMN LEAPED INSIDE THE CHINOOK! >_< i was like "wtf he's flying????" lured out sacrificing one of the rookies, but the few others survived the escape! quite intense moment, this mod is just a masterpiece! also loving the new xenopedia entry about different warheads and tips to play, very immersive and helpful.
  2. just unlocked vortex weapons, and the warhawk II is missing is text in the workshop submenu (####) and his cost is 55$. finished research on the vortex rifle and no xenopedia description or entry in the workshop build menu.
  3. uhm... not sure if a bug or feature intended on the new alien-egg: - his fire is aoe? got 2 guys knocked down by a single shot while they were standing near. - a smoke grenade can kill it? i tossed one of them to get more near and throw a standard frag, but it exploded with the smoke one...
  4. yeah, that was a blast! gotta few CTD in the GC: if this is persistant i will provide a save. loving the new condor loadout!

  6. the problem is the anti-grav generator in the middle of the cruiser... a single miss can blow it up. but indeed i need a scimitar asap to deal with these guys. better a crispy generator, than a dead squad. ^^ thanks for the tips and now... ALL TO THE CHINOOK! RETREAT!
  7. the problem is INSIDE the ufo... they just pop on the teleporter, fire and then retreat. (great, that was MY tactic before this mod! ) isn't a bit overpowered to get the command room so much firepower?
  8. i'm having problems confronting the aliens... assaulting a cruiser with mixed coyote/wolf armors, all laser weaponry, advanced shotguns/shields and rockets: the harridan and the androns giving me an hard time entering inside, but i finally made inside and greeted, on alien turn, by some advanced vortex rifles... 4 of them at the same turn by 4 androns. my squad was almost all ko'ed by the stun damage... suggestions? maybe i'm doing it wrong in this mod, because i can't handle the ground combat with all those resist on them.
  9. same here. after pushed end turn, it stated 0/0 aliens on the mission. corvette ufo.
  10. i was wondering... i need to stop getting updates from steam or the mod is cool with that? still 200mbish left, can't wait to try the new playtoys!
  11. yeah indeed, but i find redundant to reinvent a sort of wheel when you already got a fine shortcut, but it's only me and you are the modders, i can't just thank you enough for the time investing on these fantastic mods!
  12. i think it's better to be manufactured by the xenonauts workshops, without you guys banging the head too much on the wall "we can do it? but how?", so you can focus more on the mod.
  13. thanks for the tips! the problem was the tech tree: i didn't find any laser pistol so i couldn't progress in the tree for the protection... the later alien units arrived while i was still naked in front of them; now the challenge is still high but i can manage with laser, advanced ballistic and jackal. the vanilla game was kinda boring after few mission and learning the pattern of the aliens, now with this mod i'm actually scared going in a terror/crash mission!
  14. same thing, except mine was half squad... i still have the experimental branch active, should i delete the game for the base version? edit/ oh well going for a clean install. some random thoughts on the mod: -the challenge is very high, corvette ufo are almost a no-no to all my troops, because all the ballistics weapons i have don't have much stopping power to penetrate that damn reaper armor... figures when the beast showed up; i like it very much, but it seems quite frustrating to re-hire 5-6 operatives all the time. -i'm at the landingship mark and my men still have only the basic armor, not improved one; probably will be unlocked if i get some androns, but i only fought the other basic alien type. - air combat is fun as always.
  15. i think there is a bug... i just lost half of my squad for no apparent reason. most of them were injured but no one got killed/stunned: at the end of the crash site, 4 of them showed up killed in action, while they were alive. im missing some new mechanic in the mod?
  16. first of all great mod, it's very challenging with many aliens in the same ufo instead of mono-type (damn bullet-sucking zombie! ); it's very fun! nevermind, found the research!
  17. i'm so excited! i'm so happy that this long road has finally reached the end! i hope the game will sell shitons of copies, so you guys can take the earned success of this great game. thanks for building this game for us, i can't describe more how i'm feeling right now regarding this.
