  1. Chris, what about some different animations of death? Like in Ja2 - there is about 3-5 variations, connected to a impact and weapon type damage.

  7. Some strange thing with flamethrowwers. there is basic alienium flamethrower and advanced. (two techs) - but when i researched advanced - there maybe one item was combined with other? i doesn't see 2 types of flamethrowers -((( and in tech - alienuim flamethrower production need "alienium thrower" thrower of what?-))))

I'll try to add some friendly AI groups to tropics... soleke a commandos forces against hunter that suprisenty happened to say hello to alliens-))) So in each map i need to make spawn points for them + upgrade numbers and than update what weaponry they must have in missiontypeprops_gc Is it all? And so i understood why we can't do that for xenonaut base - there no same static maps that could give us ability to set spawn points... hm very intresting than. Because alien attack seem not use them to just adding some tiles to back parts of the base. Intresting. If i make no adjustments to the back tiles - would they be able to invade?
  10. hm... it more clear... and that mean that i need some more understanding. For example we have wonderful tropical jungle tileset... so what files i need to look in first? Mean my main aim is to add some civils to base defence missions...

Charon, Drages... little bad wish-))) To have an ability to make 1-tile cyber-melee soldier anti-melee for our side-))) High chemica and armor def-))) could act as mobile shield and cut to parts any of that alien insurgents-))) ps. still got no idea what i made wrong with adding new civs to ground combat... sem that numbers are preset to maps (alien ship) sizes, so overal numbers even in div-x files doen't show right ones - many times that numbers are highly bigger or smaller than placed at the specifyed files
  13. Well, as i tested... to november 1979 i have 8 bases fully operational and just 4 upo in wave spawned (veteran). So, that means upping mission count (as i understand - alien ships in wave spawned) 0.5*number of my bases - doesn't influence. I'll try to change to...1-))) Wow... when i changed to 1 - i got 16!-)))))))) (base 4-7 + 8=> 12-15...hm...) ah... bingo! 1 escaped from wawve before-))) They gave me maximum-))) upd... +2... so 18!-) NOt all wave shown plus some maybe happen in oceans... Poor human foirces can't react... hm... it could be a special event for the end-game... for example if you will wait longer - the massive invasion will begin and how much you even try - every wave would be bigger than the lastone... so soldiers, aircrafts would die faster than could react because of limited placehold and base numbers-)) but in other case - superflow of allienum and other pretties-)) upd2. lastly! got alien base attack on me... so...20 soldiers and 3 tanks - thats the limit (but i have about 50 soldier to fill 3 chinooks with and support). Pity, but no matter. Bad is there no civils and friendly ai forces-(((( experiment failed, ehh... maybe some other files must be updated too?
  14. flashbangs are like light grenades that do suppression-like things. they disorient, confuse. It could be a thing like making AI (if hited) to change stance, position, to move or fire without concrete aim (as a confusion), so to add panic(?) logic if suppresion values get close to max (and it doese count because player give for that his own ap - so could be limited effects - or in group or per one special montser for anyhow, one more way to stun after confusion or regroup).

Its a just and simple contract with my reality-) Say it and i'll grant you the same simple alternative to the illusion that you just have with that matrix. Architectors that sleep - doesn't interested in where to do that, yes? Or not? Or maybe even you wish to wake up? What do you left to wish? No pain - no gain, yeah?-)))
  16. drages, what you do in real life? miracals for 4.99?-))) YOu do things that little who could. I know just maybe 1-2 man (it, programmins, modding), who taked a big thing and choosed to make it done anyway. even if the sky falls down. One make Hardcore SK overhaul mod for Rimworld, another make the best mod for Mount&Blade (Prophesy of Pendor). Each of them i helped and inspired for some reson and in some themes-) So, giving my powers of spirit to you too-) MAKE IT DONE, drages. Its your Path.

  19. just funny situation (first time ever) - sibilian in farm map spawened in thr corner of the map and falling trees, stones, bushes and trees made around him unpassable trap for 2x6 tiles-)))
  20. researched already caesian cieftian interrogation. but none dead ones-) so after interrrogation he dissapeared as corpse-) but when in terror mission - i killed one - his corpse was sent to reserch division (in log) - but i got no research availiable after log in lab-( sorry. as i see his autopsy is auto-)
  21. caesian data hack 1 doesn't lead for anything useful? am i right that caesan rebel - doesn't give anything in research but is like a story path, that in future lead to next-next-next discoveries?
  22. Drages, just throw it away, if it not yours. No problem. Today, i equiped most of squad with stun battons and catched drone xeno, warrior xeno, caesian engineer, guard (2), medic and psion in one small crash site. Everything seem ok... but - no caesian psion interogation is there any at all? - from last game i knew, that i have in storage about 4 caesian alive psions, that i even can't "disasemble" ) and as i knew from the last game - first there was knive mk1-2 research and only after - axe. But i just captured (the log after battle - about new researches awailiable - (no knives - its my first alive melee dron and warrior xenos at veteran). So i got axe mk1 availiable before any mention about knife research. and are there some ability to redirect (after research or engeneering project done) to a lab/engeneer panel of the base where it done - not the main base panel? upd. Ok. you need to link axe research to the xeno warrior analys, but if it possible, block the ability to reach it if there is no xeno dron analise and knife research finished. question - do alloy fabrication give an ability to build allien alloys (in future) or not? upd. i think, jackal production must be set after research of allien alloys fabrication. And defender - too, because it is produced from it. possibly the same to asierus, foxtrot, laser and division weaponry. Because how, if you doesn't understand fabrication you'll implement it?
  23. one funny bug that i fogotten. base defence. if i use defender and put it at the doors place - it broke them in 1st turn and they are always open If i do the same with hunter - it doesn't broke the doors... he just freeze between them without ability to move anyhow. doors are closed... my soldiers (that see its ass rear can't open the door... and one seb - opened it from other side-) than hunter returned its normal ability to move-)))
