This is very helpful, thanks a lot for providing the save before the petrol station exploded. was able to capture a bunch of error messages that'll make it easier for us to find the cause of the issue, thanks again!

That's a bit of a woops from us, those maps are not supposed to be included in 2.10 (but they're mostly playable). We'll get the randomization bug fixed as well, thanks for the bug report!

Not really a bug but thanks for the suggestion! I don't really work on the UI/UX side of things so most of what I can do is bring this up to Chris and the team. We'll probably setup a dedicated suggestions section to aggregate feedback like this in the future, thanks again!

Sorry but can you expound on this a bit more? Do you mean that some of the soldiers have the same number assigned to them in the ground combat layer?

Thanks to the bug reports! Yeah this bug along with the other crashes after GC seems to have been caused by the changes we've made on how recoverable soldiers are processed by the game. We've made a fix for this one that should be included in the upcoming hotfix that should be out this week!

Yeah, it's a bug caused by how the game processes which Actors(soldiers) are recoverable, the fix for this crash should be included in an upcoming hotfix. Thanks for the bug report!

Yep - it happens when you have a KIA unit as the bug is caused by changes we've introduced to how the game processes recoverable soldiers, we've got a fix for it in the upcoming patch! Thanks for the bug report!

Thanks for the bug report! I tried downloading the save but it didn't crash on my end, can you provide the output logs for your crash? It'd help us a lot!
They're usually found here: Documents > My Games > Xenonauts 2 > Logs
EDIT: Was able to reproduce the crash on my Steam copy of the game, it's all cool now! -

Yeah the bug doesn't seem to be reproducible from loading saves, however if you've got logs from the crash, uploading them here would definitely help, thanks.

Yep this is one of the possible workarounds at the moment, you can also throw a grenade at the body to kill it.

Just to clarify, so after deleting the Xenonauts folder on the My Games folder and performing a clean reinstall, launching the game doesn't bring you to the main menu, instead it immediately proceeds to a loading screen?

Hostage usually implies that they're held for the purpose of getting something from the enemy (for a payment, lift sanctions, etc.), the aliens don't seem to be really interested in negotiating with us humans tho!-

Yeah, mechanical units have had their destruction bugged for a bit, we're still trying to fix the issue as it seems to be intermittent and mostly happens outside of dev environment (unity editor). Thanks for the bug report tho!
