Thanks for taking the time to post a bug report! This should be fixed on the latest 6.8 patch, let us know if that is not the case.

Stopped playing for a few months, now returned. Did not see others posting this issue, but now I see its not just me.
Also agree that tiles under ufo shouldn't be lit.Can you send us a save so we can give it a look? There's currently a bug with UFO interiors being revealed that might be the same as this one, we're still working on getting this fixed.

I did notice that it was alluded to in the mission briefing, but I never click on that button on the mission launch screen, I only see those once I reach the crash sites (just thinking that important information like that could perhaps be visible on the mission launch screen already).

Just load the save and end turn. Psyon should open the UFO door. Notice how the hull isn't removed on the alien turn and it's impossible to see what's going on inside the UFO (This is the bug I reported last week) On the next turn, move MARS and the whole UFO is revealed. This is something that I haven't seen before, is probably tied to night vision rules.

Thanks for the bug report! We're working on fixing the bug with enemy turn ufo hull reveal, but will bring this up with the team.
EDIT: Nvm, misunderstood the original post. this is indeed a separate bug, we'll get it fixed. -

Hello there, glad to know that you've been enjoying the game, and thanks for taking the time to post a bug report! We'll need to look at the crash logs to know what's caused the game to crash when you were equipping said soldier. If you relaunch the game after a crash, it should prompt to generate a bug report file. Said bug report file should be in \Documents\My Games\Xenonauts 2\BugReports. If you can attach the bug report .zip file when making a reply, we'll be able to give it a look.

But in 6.5.0 starting air combat shows "Armor 0/0". Is this a display bug or is the initial armour still broken?

Hey there, thanks for the bug report! This one is a known issue that I believe is fixed on milestone 6. Unfortunately saves between milestone 5 and 6 are not compatible so you'll need to start a new campaign if you decide switch to that version.

The capture-ufo-in-3-turns message is a good mechanism to have if there are other remaining aliens outside the UFO. But in the majority of ground combat the outside is cleared first and the last aliens are inside the UFO, and this message adds more confusion than help in this context. I would suggest that this message only be triggered when (aliveAliensInUFO=0 AND aliveAliens>0). Be careful to only count conscious alive aliens, in the ground combat I noticed this I had stunned some other aliens both inside and outside the UFO.

Yeah, the destruction visual on the sentry guns are bugged atm, we're getting it fixed.

I think the camera should only snap back if the soldier is not visible in the screen, will check with the rest of the team though as I'm not sure if this is the fix we've made for this issue (we've been aware of this for some time as well). Would you rather that the camera not snap back at all?

So if I haven't entered the UFO or opened it's door yet and an alien opens the UFO door for the first time on the enemy turn, the UFO hull doesn't get removed until the enemy turn is over, making it impossible to see what's going on inside the UFO. So the hull should get removed as soon as the door opens, regardless of who's turn it is.
Thanks for the bug report! By any chance do you have a save where I can test this? I can make one on my own but it'd save a lot of time if by any chance you still had one

After finishing the turn, the aliens move, and then the game seems to hang. It never resolves and never gives the turn back to me. Attached save file.

Ah, yeah, the destroyed walls seem to be spawning in an offset from their original position, we'll get it fixed.
