You're breaking me out? I had been melting down the crayons I write my posts with to make splendid Icarus wings so I could glide from the top of the institute.

I'd hazard a guess that it shares a similar fate to so many other things.

On how weapons of war can be used to high-light the causes of peace? On how threads transform in the furnace of the forum into new, unexpected shapes? On how puns subvert language and meaning bringing en-light-enment to readers? On how flammenwerfer can still be effective on global hotspots? On how some threads go on and on like a trick birthday candle?

Which means we have long spells of silence, as pretty much anything can be considered such depending on the mood.

We retired 7th place in your honour.

good point freeaxle. It's something I can get a bit lazy about, only to have it really cost me in the likes of a terror mission.

I'd have thought he was just enjoying the therapy at the sanatarium. Is it wise to raise his temperature again? bring on a fever? For flammenwerfer, yes indeed.

Sometimes the thread may seem dormant, but then it will erupt with volcanic intensity.

Sounds fine. I imagine that mine will turn into yours sooner or later. I've got a blank column that I could be using for something. Any suggestions welcome.

Transfering Scientists / Engineers

Handwavium suggestion: That in the cold war host nations are extremely reluctant to allow their top scientists and engineers to go to enemy/ competing nations. With an alien invasion also going on, their skills are even more in demand at home. Selfish and short sighted to some, but preserving their national interests to others. Oh, to have had scientists and engineers with skill levels like apocalypse >sob< -
Sadly there are times where I watch the civvies more to spot where the aliens are than looking to protect them from danger. Actually, that's possibly most of the time.

Typically, I had started my update from the page I left off on, rather than the first page. I would have saved myself a lot of time if I had just seen your first I should be keeping mine updated as we get past the release and some of the older mods are updated or revised (which is why some of the older ones are on there). Obviously, you can feel free to keep yours going too. It depends on how much you enjoy doing it. It gives me a reason to keep up with all the modding threads. The plus for us is that it could mean you spend more time on your own excellent mods

You'd think that they would cotton on to all the facts of the issue.

Alas Jean-Luc thought the entire thread was a giant euphemism for something else. On the plus side, we've hopefully shone a light (I don't really want to type uncovered) on his chronic, and presumably very painful, medical condition.

The further I get in the game, the further away from the doors I like to be.

What was the point again? There's a tiny flicker in my mind, but...nope...it's gone...

On the plus side, it's pretty quick and everyone will hopefully be focusing on the cool game play.

Do the aliens still run out or just open the door every now and again? I used to dread that door opening sound as I was trying to position my troops.
