  1. gravs compared to alenium do 150dmg to aleniums 480 but can launch all 20 in about the same time as the 4 alenium can (or most of them). lancers it is then. gonna keep the foxtrot because i will need may crashed ufos to rebuild my airforce with new crafts.
  2. hmm thanks, i was thinking to build another airport-base loaded with planes (already have one that has only planes and defensive batteries). another question, are the lancers with gravity torpedoes better than the foxtrots with alenium ones?
  3. im trying to down a terror battleship in phase 2, killed its escort but im having constant ctds when i send 2 sodas and a foxtrot (game crashes when soda dies). i have managed to damage it up tp 36% but i dont have any more planes to sent.what else i can do?i have unlocked and use gravity torpedoes and the lancer aircraft.
  4. when should i attack alien bases?if i take too long they become fotresses.
  5. so i assault a base -2nd round 6 wraiths teleport inside the starting room and kill 7 of my men -next round doors open and ceasans kill my tank and my last man. the same happened with the other races,with the lizards i get team wipe out by the second round as the bullsomething come in and turn them to zombies. and this is just an outpost.
  6. i also need to add that at the end of each month i end with more money from what i had before even if my relations with most countries is poor.
  7. i dont know its a bug but i dont loose money in the geoscape,when i buy buildings/equipement i loose the appropriate amount but in the geoscape i dont loose anything. is this normal?

  9. i tested with a sebilian many times but he always gets killed,in the ground there is a sebillian corpse instead of a body if i stun it.im doing this before i get batons to see if i can get a capture that way. i researched alien tech plus ceaser engineer but didnt get shock weapons,what else i need to do?
  10. is it possible to stun with the shotgun?or firing with the shotgun results to kills always?
  11. i have captured a lizard sergeant and every ceasar specialist,but i still cant make new weapons.the lizard was a pain because lizards dont carry stun weaponry.lizards have more specialist?they are either pink(sergeant) or green (grunt). recapturing the same specialist gives anything?
  12. do i need to capture a lizard sergeant to progress in the ballistics? also when do stun grenades unlock?
  13. is it normal for condors to have 0 chance in autoresolve when engaging scouts?

  15. by the way i have seen that fire in the hole in incorporated but i havent seen any breaching charges buildable,what should i use to open holes in ufos? or is this another meta tech you can get if you are a meta player?

  17. My main problem is the randomness of the type of the UFO you get,they may have the specialist you want or not. That means if you don't get the correct type specialist you won't unlock anything and you will get stuck with low tier equipment. For example when corvettes start to appear I don't have any planes capable to shoot it down yet and I have to rely to catch while it lands. In xenophobia mod you could research cooperation with ussr\usa\european nation early and get aircraft capable to shoot down corvettes and even mother ships later. My point is that research in this mod is unpredictable,it doesn't rely to players decisions but on luck.
  18. i mean this picture from the nexus forums i did a fresh reinstall of everything and deactivated kabills armoured assault mod that comes with CE0.34 and now vehicles work correctly. by the way do you have some advice/tips?i find the mod a bit hard/unbalanced concerning your armour/weapons progresion.i did about 20 scout/light scout and 8 corvette missions to get all the specialists i needed to progress.in my current playthrough im at march 1980,lost 3 continents and i have 3 alien fortresses across the world.i still use jackal armour because wolf needs andron parts and i was unlucky with my ufos. in weapons im still in tier 2 kinetic and tier 1 lazer. hardest part was the first months until i got specialised stun weapons,i got 2 full team wipeouts trying to capture alive alien specialists,my total casualties amount to 42 xenonauts dead. any tips concerning ufo breach tactics?i usually have 2 teams both sides of the door,and 2 snipers facing the door on overwatch. this is the phase i got the most casualties, i try to get closer to the door as possible, an alien pops out lobs a grenade and kills 2-3 party members.but after i get in,usually all surviving aliens will pop out from where they hide and start lobbing nades like stosstruppen clearing a french trench lol:p also they have very high reaction stats,opening doors/moving/firing in the vicinity of an alien usually means i loose 1-2 xenonauts from reaction fire.
  19. well probably its my mistake,i didnt deactivate some mods that come with the community edition per instructions:D but may i ask,the instructions say to deactivate Lore+ mod,is it already incorporated in x division?i dont want to loose all those cool images......
  20. hello, i have been playing with the latest version and patch 1.59/CE 0.34.1 and i have this strange bug,apparently i cant change the weapons of the tanks and the heavy tank you get after hunter/upgraded hunter doesnt even spawn with its default cannon. i have recearched and manufactured multiple weapon upgrades for the tanks,but it seems i cant equip them.
