  1. If you mean is it incorporated into XCE then it is not, it is included in the XCE mod pack.
  2. I dont notice any improvements, still the occoasional CTD & the game still locks which i need to alt,ctrl & del to exit. Also now getting crash popups when exitng the game. These are not game breaking problems though as the game autosaves quite often & i also make a lot of saves. Regardless, i thank all involved in the developement of XCE.
  3. Is this version compatible with Win XP or is there a seperate .exe fix like there is for 0.34.2.

    When you create a shortcut for any .exe file you can add parameters like D:\Xenonauts\assets\mods\xce\Xenonauts.exe -nointro (edit) I think it might have had something to do with windowed mode, am searching google now.
  5. Going to play again after long time away. The whole game folder is archived so i only need to extract but i never saved my Xenonauts.exe my shortcut. There were 1 or 2 parameters in it & i forget what they were, they were in there for a good reason. I have googled & searched the board, does anyone know where i can find the shortcut options please. I patiently await Thankyou

    Changing to heavy="1" crashed the game, i removed the whole line & it works. XCE modifies Xenonauts, so to me XCE is a mod, you cannot play XCE with Xenonauts installed.

    armours_gc.xml: <VehicleArmour name="HYPERION_ARMOUR"> ... <Special hovering="1" /> change <Special hovering="1" /> to <Special jumpPack="1" /> vehicles.xml is in a mod, it's in the XCE folder.

    There are no other vehicles.xml, i am using the original file from game version 1.59 stable. I do believe the Hyperion is bugged because as i already posted the Hyperion uses the Hunter engine sound, that problem was easily solved by copying the Hunter engine file & renaming it.

    Just tried that change before landing at a mission & it does not work. I do know about mod/file priority.

    I did try that but i was in Ground Combat when trying different changes, i changed 'Special hovering' to 'Special jumpPack' in armours_gc.xml & just left it, next mission was an alien base & it worked, i discovered later that the Hyperion will not go over water. Thankyou

    Trying my hardest to ignore this bit it's really irritating me now. Who do these maps belong too, the houses with no walls are always Farm. Do i have the load order right, do any need to be updated.

  16. Is 0.34.2 fully WinXP compatible, the game locks up far too much & i get the odd crash. It could be something i have changed but i have redone the changes afresh twice. These lock ups happen in both GroundCombat & the GeoScape so i doubt it's a map pack. Is there anything specific that might cause these lock ups. Thankyou.

    Yes i did try, she was surrounded by 3 other soldiers & every used there AP's with the stun stuck. I reloaded & moved the others out of her way, the Caesen who had controlled her came next to my other soldiers, it was shot & i regained control of the controlled soldier, i know what to next time. Run! lol
  19. wtf! one of my soldiers came under alien control so i thought i would just stun her, cannot stun her. Why please & how do i fix this otherwise i will have no choice but to disable alien control.
  20. Am 100% sure i was able to sell alien grenades in v0.34.1 as well as other items, i see no difference comparing the data in items.xml except the added sort lorder line. Too much of a faff on in either reverting back or re-installing 0.34.1. I patiently await :) Thankyou
  21. I thought i would try & pick up a few alien grenades & they showed up in the sell list after the mission. Strange.
  22. Checked all mods & files, tried disabling mods etc, everything seems to be Ok. Is this a bug i dont know about, any ideas please.
  23. What i mean is do i need to research something else before the grenades are sellable. I have made many changes to files so it's probably something i have done.
  24. I have done afaik all researches up to 'capture an alien leader', could it be that i need to research something, is there something in another file that would effect the sellable items. Not a problem as i do sell all alien corpses for 1000. I have a habit of restarting games, i have still not completed this game, not even close to it & i am restarting again in a few minutes after making more game/balance changes.
