On my particular PC, I am unable to hire Scientists/Engineers. I can click to "Research"->"Hire scientists". The button to increase the number is highlighted onMouseOver, but does not react on clicking.
I cannot deassign the initial 10 scientists from research - clicking the corresponding button does not have any effect.
Same applies to engineers.
Soldier recruitment works fine.
I double-checked living space and lab space - there are slots free.
This happened after a clean Steam installation of the game. No reinstall was attempted yet.
Restarting the game client does not fix the issue.
Restarting the gameplay (New game) does not fix the issue.
In the previous days I played on a different PC and it worked fine. Thus, I assume graphics issue.
Current configuration: Intel i5, GTX970, 8GB RAM, Win10 64Bit. Video drivers up to date.
Configuration that worked in the previous days: old i7, ATI HD6970, Win10 64bit.
Please help me help Xenonauts help humanity save the world!
