  1. Right on. The game ceetainly has the right feel and has wisely maintained freedom of choice. I hope they have a hit on their hands.
  2. Yeah, I've tried a few. The text seems to scale with the resolution, meaning at a higher res I find I can actually read the text better. Unlike many other games, the text doesn't get bigger at a lower res, i.e. 1024xwhatever, the lowest one offered by the game. It just seems to get blurry at a lower res. But the text is just too small, in my view, in several of the panels. I still think the game could use some bigger text overall, since it's out of the user's hands by changing the resolution. Couple other preliminary thoughts: I'd like the toggle to save APs for a snap shot to be a true toggle and stick, so I don't have to reset it every turn. Also, I'd like to scroll the tactical map with the mouse in the down direction. Currently, the "squaddie" window seems to impede scrolling along the bottom edge of the screen. I have to move the mouse cursor to the small spaces along the bottom near the corners, where that window isn't. Nice game, though. Enjoyed my first evening with it...until it crashed right at the end of a long tactical phase.
  3. Just pre-ordered, and the game looks very promising. Keep up the good work. There's one area of immediate concern to me, however: the size of the text. Many of the fonts are just fine, but many are simply too small to read comfortably, even at the largest screen resolution offered by the game. I've read you guys are considering making the state more "visual" but please consider making the text simply larger and more readable, as well. Along the same lines, does anyone have any advice on how to increase the test size myself? Since there are plenty of .xml files, I've done some looking to see if i could do some simple editing to make the game more legible, but I haven't found any master list of font sizes yet. Any ideas?
