  1. I know alien weapons are supposed to destroy cover, but recently I've noticed that sometimes alien weaponry passes right through cover as if it weren't there. One time an alien shot through the edge of train and killed one of my soldiers, and when I reloaded and tried shooting the alien from the very same spot, it said that the alien was 100% protected behind the train. This isn't the first time this has happened, and it's really starting to ruin the gameplay. I really hope this gets fixed soon, since I've really been enjoying the game otherwise.
  2. Not bad, I like the bit about the grapple. I'm still not crazy about the low squad count, but I think it's showing signs of being a good TBS game on its on merits.
  3. That's not a certainty at all. JA2 had camo, and I never had any trouble finding my soldiers. It depends how it's implemented. But yeah, I guess Gorlom's anecdote about the colored sleeves kinda kiboshes the whole idea for me. Pity.
  4. I'm thinking in terms of graphics rather than gameplay. I think it'd be kinda cool if the colors (and maybe textures) of the Xenonaut's outfit changed from region to region depending on the color scheme of the environment. I know it's a pretty minor thing, but it'd seem kinda odd to me if the Xenonauts went to desert and tundra environs dressed in the same blue SWAT getup that they wear in the cities. It could add a nice realistic touch, and the concept, imo, would go hand in hand with the whole modern feel to the art design. Just a thought!
