  1. When I started on Kick Starter, I bought it through Xsolla,( I have the email confirmation) but some how I got a steam key very early, about V3?
  2. What a wonderful world there all are equally empowered with the same physical abilities, with all running the same time for the mile, and bench pressing the same weights. Can't see it myself, but we can live in hope.
  3. I have tried to build a new base, and as you add structures, they only come horizontal, and you can't rotate them to fit!!

As the ground combat begins, the drop ship is the old 8 seater, and the last two troops are in the back of the craft, and can not get out, as the craft is too small, all so you have very little chase of betting to cover, as the are surrounded by aliens, all very exciting, but you don't last long!!
  5. After my first combat mission with combat armour, it all vanished, and I had to make new ones, will they disappear as well!! Also any new weapons that you have manufactured vanish??
  6. I have a steam account, and I am in Experimental setting, but NO V7 yet!!!
  7. Balance - All weapons now have fire costs based on a % of max TU, rather than flat costs. The flat costs were an error on my part, as they were left over from some semi-related gameplay testing I did (X-Com and Xenonauts 1 both use %TU fire costs).  If you only have 50 action point, per turn, and it cost 25% to fire your weapon, it doesn't matter how good you improve your stats, it will always cost the same, so that would be 4 shots, with 50 points, and 4 shots with 100 point. It actually takes you longer to fire your weapon the better you get!! I just can't see the the benefit??

  9. Thank offer support to the infantry, and infantry keep enemy infantry from the flanks of the tanks, mutual support!

  11. It is always about having options, with a mix of amour and fire power, Light amour for scouts, medium amour for riflemen, and Heavey amour for support, and or close in melee soldiers.
  12. I think that we may be going into a completely different gaming genres!!
  13. What if you decide to play Murder Ball, and some of the soldiers are injured, and are unable to man the chopper, for missions??
  14. If you have bought into the kick starter, then you have all ready paid for a copy.
  15. Why mush the weapons load-out be hard, just create a job roll, and sign weapons and load out to that roll. As new weapons become available, just up date that load out.
  16. We are all entitled to owner own opinions, and I have said mine, so thank you for your response.
  17. There is a great deal of difference between a well drilled professional soldier, who re-acts instinctively, and a novice who has to think through all their actions. So I am not in favour of a % base TU system, because that difference would be so small, as to be neg-suable. Experience Counts!! Go and see "Danger Close" there is a fire fight!
  18. We can argue about the pro's and con's of these devises, but are they possible, with in the constraints of this game?? Is there the will to make it happen!
  19. When moving, if you select a large number of titles to move across, you would be considered running, but if you are moving in short hops from cover to cover, that would be considered, stealth!!
  20. Why all of a sudden are there all these adverts for unrelated products and service, that have nothing to so with this game, can they be blocked??
  21. All games play through to a finial ending, it is not like real life, that why it is a game. You can then go on to the next game that takes your fancy!!
  22. Diversity of battle grounds, make this type of game a lot more interesting. At this time you land in the Osprey, and some kind of cover is right there, in a similar place each time. So your deployment is similar each time, and it becomes routine, and lacks that situation pressure to get safe, and return or initiate fire, on the enemy.
  23. IN Xeno 1, I would arm a scout with a pistol and a shield, and tip toe through the combat area. The pistol gave some but not a lot of fire power, as it was the shield that would make the encounter, less deadly. Then you would bring in the fire teams to deal with the target?
  24. They do seem to be aware, of this problem, and hope that when the next pre-build is offered up, it will be on the mend.
