  2. Appreciate your thoughts on the matter. You are right on the flamers, didn't thought of the loss of precious loot. Still, I think at least one for melee rush on terror missions seems appropiate. So you recommend precision laser over division rifle. Will try it for a few missions then. I love the look and sound of the division sniper but we can't afford not using every edge. Thanks for your input!
  3. @Pandi: Thanks for the tips. What are your thoughts on the differences between the Division Mk 1 Cannon VS the Gatling Laser on a Heavy Weapons Soldier? Also, Division Sniper VS Precision Laser? I dind the SMG is better than Laser Pistol. But Laser Rifle is better than Division Rifle. I don't use shotties. I prefer to bring flamers on my Assaults, and stun grenades on everyone for captures. Shields also carry batons just in case. I know I am supposed to mix the damage types but is just for me the heavy machine gun and ballistic cannon are far superior to the laser counter parts. In fact, in my uneducated opinion, only the Laser Rifle has an edge just because of the energy damage type. I am finding only bringing energy weapons in the form of 2 or 3 soldiers with Laser Rifles, everyone else uses Division Weapons. As mentioned, Assaults carry a Laser Rifle / Flamer combo. Care to share yout imputs on this matter?

  5. Greetings, Commander! I salute your efforts and really enjoy your vids Any tips on how to take on Carrier crafts or any other ships with escorts? What do you recommend for phase one weapons? I have all Division mark 1 and laser mark 1. But for some reason division w eapons seem to pack more bang for my buck, very high damage and loads of ammo, while lasers are very low on ammo and don't deal as much damage on creatures resistant to energy. Is there something that I am missing?
  6. Just disable it, load the save and either finisht the ground mission and activate the mod again or save on a different save file and try it. I understand how you feel. I also in love of that mod. Nothing like alarms beeping and cars going off on the background while you lurk for hiding agents to immerse yourself You don't have to disable the mod forever, just when you get the crash. I know it's a constant hassle but hopefully the compatibility improves as v1.0 reaches completion
  7. I am absolutely LOVING the airgame now!! I don´t know if it´s because I am playing on Easy or what, but two Condors went a long way downing everything on their path all through their shelf life until the arrival of Asierus. I was actually very proud to retire the birds as undefeated champions of a bye-gone era. I was surprised to read the scientist on the XPedia talk about them being expendable "Send one, lose one" type of sacrificial craft. In vanilla I felt the airgame was just alpha striking, now I am using pulling and bait-and-switch tactics, shifting velocities constantly to adjust for turn rate and turn on afterburners for kill shots. " If the UFO has escorts you will need to figure out what to do." Hoooooeeeeey. Well, I guess R.I.P. this run, then. This mod has been so much fun.
  8. Greetings. Not an expert or anything, but hat I do is break the door open with heavy machine gunfire (heavy weapon / Hunter scout car) or blast it open with rockets / reaching charges. I prefer machine guns / rockets since you can blast the door from afar and cream the aliens when they come out of the ship with the reaction fire of your firing line. Hope this helps
  9. Anyone has some tips on airplane functions or wing composition? In all my Xenonauts playthrough, modded and otherwise, I always just used wings of 2 of the best planes available, but now we have so many options... I am a little overwhelmed. I have foxtrots and Asierus available but don´t know what to build, since they use the same resources... Since Asierus looks cooler/more advanced I am currently constructing 2 to replace my first Condor wing. Any advise would be much appreciated
  10. I just want to say that this project is so awesome and inspiring. Thanks to everyone involved and kudos for an excellent work. Also shout out to Suave for the tips, you are a brave one, Commander! My only regret is that I always get too attached to my soldiers and will cry manly tears at their eventual demise at the hands of a cruel alien invasion that now feels like the aliens actually want to WIN. Cannot express enough gratitude for all the efforts done by the Team. THANK YOU!

  12. I am using XCE 031 HF, using the optionals for Doors. Working perfectly. Also, I will take the time to thank you for doing all of this, I have installed some of your other mods and I must say they really enhanced my experience. I like this one in particular because of the breach charges, it just goes hand in hand with the rest of the destructible enviroment, and having specialized equipment for the strong ship hulls makes perfect sense. Thank you so much for doing this, and kudos for a very good job.
