Hey man it worked !!! I had to remove the original folder Furies, Terror and Dread..etc.. and extracted the file I downloaded form your link in another folder. I had to remove the old folder because in the mod list I was not able to activate the mod I downloaded from you : when I went on activate that in the mod list it automatically activated the other one (the original one). So I removed the folder and left only the one I got from you. I just reloaded the save game I kept (I didn't delete it...Ironman-Insane lot of struggle to get there !!! ) And now the assault lander attacks Buenos Aires and it works flawlessly !!! Thanks a lot you should have come earlier !! And better update it publicly because this bug can crash a lot of games, an assault lander will sooner or later attack a city.

Ok so again, I started a new game after a brand new install of xenonauts and on TERROR mission when the UFO "ASSUALT LANDER" attacks a city the games Crashes EVERYTIME. It is not able to load the map.

I validated the steam files and all is ok, I didn't mess up with anything so I don't think I have a bad install, by the way I played other games with the same mod configuration and I was able to load Terror missions... So there is no hope for me to continue this game ??

This is what appears in the log - but it seems it doesn't capture the xenonauts stuff just repeating the same lines over and over. It seems there is a problem in loading terror mission maps...if you help me to fix this game I will send you a present

Hi thanks a lot for your answers. That is what appears in the debugger, but I guess it's not working good since nothing seems related to xenonauts and it keeps repeating the same lines over and over.

A quick update : I just skipped the Buenos Aires terror mission (and lost a continent ... ) After awhile I got another terror mission in Tehran and SIGH it gets stuck again, the same exact thing during loading screen the face of the alien remains there, the mouse cursor moves slowly and I can click, if I go back to desktop and then reopen the xenonauts window for a second the ground map appears with all alien sights warnings on the right side-column of the screen. But the the screen disappears and the alien face loading screen appears again and remains there stuck. I'm sad

The debugger seems to not work doesn't capture anything just repeat same lines over and over, I have windows 8.1 I think there is a problem loading the map...if there only could be a way to delete that mission or change the map ARGHH!!! The logfile of mod manager log is attached is a txt had to change extension for "forum limits?!"

[ATTACH]6095[/ATTACH]AARGHH I'm playing on Insane - Ironman and was able to reach January the first time, but this terror mission will ruin my game now ! The save game starts before the crash, the ufo will attack Buenos Aires and there is no way to play that mission, the game crashes on the loading screen. I tried to send different types of forces but same story. The mods I'm using are the ones of the version of CE I'm using. There is something I can do to not ruin my game ?
