  1. RE: The placement of TU and Health bars: I guess they could be placed under the soldier portrait in the bottom centre, similarly to how they are at the top row of portraits. I can see how it can be confusing to have them seemingly be parts of the primary/secondary item slots. And another note on the bars: I think some colour options would be great. I like the option of looking at the TU bars at the top row to see at a glance who can still act, but it's a little bit hard to make out on my screen, due to the dark blue colour of the bar. If I could make it a lighter colour - say, a bright teal - it would be easier on my eyes.
  2. Doing a landed Destroyer site. Enemies (that I can see) are Mantids and floating drones. First and second turn go without a hitch, I kill one Mantid and a drone, but after ending the second turn, the game gets stuck with the Hidden Movement screen up. It's NOT a hard crash; I can still pan the camera around and can see characters doing their idle animations under the hidden movement screen, but nothing happens. - This occurred consistently over three attempts. - I waited for up to 11 minutes to see if the game was just taking its time, but nothing continued to happen. Had to alt-f4 out. Attaching output.log and the end turn autosave. output.log auto_groundcombat_turn_2_end-143.json EDIT: After reverting to the end-of-turn 1 autosave, I was able to play through the mission mostly without incident.* That save already got overwritten, but I'm adding the pre-mission autosave to the post just for good measure. auto_strategy_before_combat-35.json *: There was an audio bug where a drone's movement sound got stuck on a loop, even persisting through to the geoscape. It went away with a game restart. Can't tell if this is related; the audio glitch was NOT present when the soft-lock happened.
  3. Yeah well, I think I'll just keep reporting bugs as I find them and leave it up to Chris's judgement which ones to fix in which update. No need to make things more complicated than that.
  4. I built a new base. Instead of waiting to get new production facilities running, I wanted to transfer my existing interceptors to the new base and build a new squadron at my HQ. However, in the relocation menu, upon selecting the destination base and clicking the confirmation button, the game immediately crashes. Additional info: - New base currently has the acceess lift, generator, living quarters and one hangar, with a radar array under construction. - The craft are Angel interceptors upgraded with accelerated cannons and alloy plating. - Crash seems to happen consistently (three attempts). - In the Aircraft screen, when selecting the new base in the top right corner, the screen says "No hangar in geobase" despite there in fact being a hangar. I even waited for a day after the hangar construction finished.   5. - Doing a Cleaner Site ground mission. A few turns in, I finish my turn, click on the End Turn button, and after a brief pause the game displays a bunch of red error text and crashes. - The crash seems to happen before enemy activity takes place; At least, the "Enemy activity" screen does not come up before the crash. - This has happened a few times in the exact same manner. Each time, it only happened once; The game makes the end turn save before crashing, and when I end the turn again after reloading the game, it proceeds without issue. - Something to do with grenades? The red text (which I suppose is the output.log) says something about "ExplosionDamage", and I seem to remember the AI apparently having used grenades during the mission preceding the crash. Not 100% sure it's been every time, though, just a feeling. - Attached are output.log, the turn-end autosave preceding the crash, the following start-turn autosave, and the pre-mission geoscape autosave.   6. I'm on Windows 10 but have the same issue. I assume it's due to resolution scaling / aspect ratio, as I only have a 1680x1050 screen and that image also appears to be in that same resolution, which is a 16:10 ratio instead of the 16:9 which is more common nowadays.
  7. Confirming the same problem. Had my game crashing also around the 18:00 mark. Came here, saw this thread, cancelled the construction of the medical room that I'd ordered at the start, no more crash. The stated remaining construction time on the medical room fits the timeframe, too.
  8. Simple description: Raid mission in a dockyard against Sebillians. I do my first turn normally with no trouble, click on End Turn, and after a couple seconds of hidden alien activity, game crashes to desktop with no error messages or anything. Further details: - Happens consistently every time, on the first alien turn in a raid mission vs. Sebillians (after a total of about 8 attempts). - Crashed UFO mission vs Sebillians prior to this worked fine. - Persists across campaigns. First occurred in previous campaign. Started new one, did a raid mission vs. Psyons without problems. Got a Sebillian raid within the same game day, crash happens again. - Loading earlier save to have the mission spawn in different location did not help. - Only see the "hidden movement" screen before crash occurs, no actual enemy activity even if live enemies are visible upon ending turn. - Have attached a game save with the mission available on the map. fgsdgs.json
