I found a really cool project on Kickstarter called "Game Grids," and I think they are FANTASTIC. I'm quite concerned that he might not make his funding goal so please go over there. I love them and I hope they make it to market. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I'm very excited about Xenonauts, I used to play X-Com: Ufo Defense (and the X-Com: Terror from the Deep) game 'back in the day.' I've seen some videos on YouTube about Xenonauts and it looks fantastic so far, and it spurned me to really want to support the developers to make this into an amazing game. *** I do have a question though, is there a standalone version of the game available? I don't want to always have to use Desura (or Steam later) to play the game. (And I like Steam more than Desura also). *** I'm a semi-old fart in my mid 40's and even though I'm an avid computer gamer it doesn't compare to my lifetime white-hot passion for the hobby / sport / artform that is Juggling. The International Juggler's Association annual festival / championships are in Winstom Salem, North Carolina in 2012!! Hamster p.s.
