Dude

Hello, quick question hopefully easy to answer. The PC i play/ed Xenonauts on (Windows) died but i still got the MOD Files on USB. New System is Linux. Question: Can i simply copy the *.xml files or do i have to enter the changes manually in the new installed Linux version?

I have sort of a similar Problem. My Soldiers do not get any Medals for Mission Completition, Base Defense, Base Attack, Terror. Working Medals: Crimson Heart (serious wound) Military Cross (5 aliens/single mission) Order of Gallantry/Merit/Terra (5, 10, 20 alien kills) Not working: Service Medals (10, 20, 30 Missions) Citation of Valor (Base Attack) Citation of Courage (Terror) Citation of Bravery (Base Defense) I just recently installed the XCE Mod and added some tweaks for my playing: buildings.xml weapons.xml Soldierimagesfemale (folder) soldiernamesfemale.xml weapons_gc.xml armours_gc.xml gameconfig.xml (ufo/terror landing duration) loadouts.xml So nothing that interferes with medals i think. Vanilla works fine.

Thanks for the hint. Looking into it even closer that was exactly what i was missing. MODMERGE="replace" worked like a charm.

Hello, thought i post here instead of creating a new thread, as i have a similar problem. I just switched from vanilla to Xenonauts: Community Edition 0.30 HotFix 1 I followed the install instruction found here: http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/12203-Xenonauts-Community-Edition-0-30-HotFix-1 I used the same method for all 3 Mods. Now i made my own mod (named him Z-Mod, so its the last to be installed) as ZIP-file and installed it by using the Mod-Installer from the Launcher. But, when i start the game, only some changes work: working: buildings.xml weapons.xml not working: soldierimagesfemale (folder) soldiernamesfemale.xml weapons_gc.xml armours_gc.xml gameconfig.xml loadouts.xml So basically, everything that is changed by xce doesnt work with my own mod. edit: sometimes working: strings.xml Sometimes the changes i made on strings.xml show up (i changed the New greeting to quickly check if it worked) and sometimes not. Anybody has an idea?
