Because of some problems I had with the game and Desura today I googled for a few solutions (and was able to solve all problems). While googling, I've stumbled upon the phrase "We don't have access to our engine's source code" multiple times in connection with Xenonauts. And... Well... What's the story behind that? It seem really weird that the developers of a game are developing it without a source code. What happened?

I just tried to download the new version of Xenonauts. Four times. Each time I got a MCF download error in the last 90%. And then it deletes everything and I have to try again. Is this a Desura error, or is the game still being updated while I try to download the new version?
