  1. I was wondering how all of my soldiers on B team lost 1% health on a mission where the aliens did not even fire lol. Now I know!
  2. I was able to overdraw my balance buying scientists and engineers as long as I had space to use them. To repeat it, just start a new game, build three bases and go to your main base and you can hire more scientists or engineers.
  3. If you have a wounded soldier, his equipment is destroyed. I had two soldiers both with wolf armor and laser rifles. Both soldiers got shot but only one was unassigned and out of service. The soldier that was out of service lost his armor and weapon and they did not show up in my inventory. It appears that when the soldier goes to the infirmary, his equipment is considered hazardous waste and disposed of Let me know if you want save files.
  4. All the pngs are missing for both the Jackel and Wolf armor sets for the Precision Laser. If you equip it with either armor, once GC starts you will CTD. Not sure if this should go in the missing sprites thread or not but wanted to give a heads up if you are crashing at GC and have this equipped.
  5. I agree with Quartermaster that the shotgun and sniper rifle both seemed underpowered. Is there a critical hit system in place? That was what caused the 3 hits versus 1 hit feel in xcom. A head shoot to save your butt was always nice! Also agree on the underwhelming explosives. I have stopped using them in all forms. Once the ferret ap bug is fixed, that might change as a rocket will do more damage per ap than the machine-gun. Reaction fire seems to be a little overpowered currently especially while just turning. Maybe decrease the radius from behind that would trigger rf to about 2/3rds what it is now.
  6. I think you have to research something called Alien Power Replication or something similar to that. I am not at my PC right now to verify but I am pretty sure there are 4 techs before laser tech is available. I think it comes after Alien Power Source.
  7. This is a known bug with aliens spawning in places they should not be. It does not happen all the time but when it does, you have to just shoot at the empty space and hope to hit the guy!
  8. Grenade activation is a known bug in v8.41 I believe. I unequip them because I keep forgetting

  10. I have had a soldier wounded on almost ever mission and have not had any crashes along the way... as long as i don't save and reload. My last game I made it all the way to July 10th with all research done and every single mission had at least 1 dumb guy get shot but I did not load a game during this time. I have had the crashes from loads while clicking the Personnel and Soldiers tab which would fit in line with the issues you have been seeing. This would appear to be something in the loading of saved games that causes the CTDs.
  11. When you start a GC mission. I can equip it and unequip it but only crashed when engaging.

  14. If you go to the Stores tab in Baseview and try to sell 1 Alenium/Alien Alloys/Alien Power Source, you will get the money for the one you told it to sell but the shady salesman will take an extra one for his stash Did not seem to be happening for Alien Plasma Clip.
