  1. Oh, no freaking way... It crashes at the last mission, right when you teleport out with everyone, get mission results and confirm... Ultimate cockblock really.
  2. I know that, the point was it really made it seem like "backup stuff now, next step overwrites everything". Without the chance to select where to install it. Guess I'm too tired today.

  4. That's really great, but can it be installed in a separate folder? Or it just auto finds my steam folder and does it? Or can you simply release a smaller patch (unless you did some really major changes) to nexus, if it won't be hard for you?
  5. Are the Researches.drone and Researches.boomerang active? They didn't unlock for me after Corsair/Marauder. Probably also because I'm using not the latest Corsair/Marauder unlock path (the carrier-cruiser-battleship requirements), but not entirely sure. upd: Yup, I was right. Had to hack it in, using the item manufacture method... The X-25 Boomerang actually has no Xenopedia picture, no hangar model and it didn't even appear after building, like it never even existed...
  6. I don't know if it's a mod-exclusive bug, XNT bug, original game bug or a feature... But aliens never use up ammo. Not grenades either. This leads to ridiculously preposterous situations when one alien can just spam Plasma Cannon (the AOE ball thingy) THREE times in a turn. Which has ammo capacity of 1/1... Not to mention it has only one spare clip. So, yeah, balance issues. It has a lot, and probably not even purely the Xenophobia fault. As for the PlasmaTechnology, workaround had to be different from what I initially expected. Seems unlocking research, which leads to another unlocked research is not working, however if you add an item to the requirements in the .xml and then manufacture/get that item - then it will magically unlock the research. So, reference this workaround if you face same kind of bugs. With all that being said in the first paragraph though, I'm in no way disrespecting your work, Slayer, in fact - quite opposite. Since I'm planning to stay with the 1.4.5 (I've read about the crashes with old saves) - can you elaborate a bit what exactly was changed in the research tree? (Aircrafts unlocks, missiles and all that stuff) I'm planning to integrate that manually from the new file to my local one.
  7. Started new game in 1.4.3, updated to 1.4.5. Didn't really change the file manually, and for sure didn't change the plasmatech entries there. If you mean a non-researched tech, then I already wrote it doesn't work. Just gives me the xenopedia entry and no other researches unlock after that.
  8. That's confirmed, encountered that too, however only for USNC stuff so far. Now my research seems to be bugged somehow. I've researched everything needed for the Researches.AlienPlasmaTechnology project, however it simply never appeared in the list for me. I tried bypassing it, by replacing other researches with the AlienPlasmaTechnology in the researches.xml, but that only gives me the xenopedia entry and that's it... Are there any reliable ways to "hack" this research in?
  9. Well, let's say, for example, me - I'm already encountering Androns and Cruiser UFOs with escorts. And no laser weapons still. Only got to wolf armor. A whole crapload of ballistic guns though. Regardless, the mod adds Xenomorph aliens with loads of TUs and 85 kinetic resistance, for extra levels of masochism. Joy... Btw, Are those patches cumulative? Or we should do it the old-fashioned way, 1.4.4 first, then 1.4.5 ?
  10. 1.4.2 didn't fix my issue as well, sadly. I'm trying to guess what might cause it, cause initially after installing 1.4.1 I also added couple of other (mostly graphical) mods: -Jsleezy's Real Fighter Portrait Pack -Skitsos Alternative Rank Insignia -Jsleezy's Real Armors 1.07 and also fixed the buildings.xml manually (negative manufacture time) Curious, but seems it didn't occur when I attempted a new game and researched all that stuff again. Probably happened due to some of the improved shotguns, but hard to say. Guess I'm restarting again, sigh.

  12. 1.4.1 mod, 1.08HF Xenonauts + 0.25HF Actually having trouble taking a screenshot, it just refuses to capture the game screen, so I uploaded a quick vid.
  13. Hello, Just started this mod today, v1.4.1 and got a serious issue with the equipment screen. Seems the original window size is still applied for the weapons list, because I researched quite a lot of stuff and the list (Ballistics) simply stops at the m16 carbine and that's it. Cannot scroll down anymore. Sorry if this issue was already covered before, couldn't find the post yet.
