  1. All. Of. The. Yes. ALL OF THE YES! Oh, by the way, Chris, would you and your people consider implementing a skill system similar to the one in UFO: Afterblank series? I used to love the way that game handled soldier skills; Need a medic? Put a soldier through some medical training first. Etc.
  2. Now we'll need parrots and eyepatches for our troops to properly shiver the alien's timbers.
  3. I see you've played Space Empires IV. I liked that game, though space combat could be quite tedious in it. SEV lacks some of the complexity, but if you try it with this mod you'll get a lot of lovely micromanagement to the game.

    Hello world!

    Hello. I've been lurking the forum for a while now, and never got around to making an account before now. Thus far, loving the game. Very much like the original X-Com, sans the absolutely horrid UI which is only a bonus in my books. And while I am rambling the greeting, might I ask of you if anyone knows of a mod for a little issue that has bugged me in every X-Com based game to this day. That being the hilariously large amount of officers you end up having in your squads by the end game? I was wondering if there existed a mod that put a limit on how many soldiers can reach high ranks compared to the total amount of the soldiers you have...? I know that may be more at home in the modding thread, though. So sorry if it's not really proper to put to an introduction post.
