  1. Xenonauts 2 is like a documentary about the U.S. military's security war in Afghanistan, or even worse, because our organization is as if there are no intelligence agents at all. Entering the mission without knowing anything, how many enemies are there? I don't know, is the drop zone safe? I don't know, why can't we scan it with our radar in the middle of the war? Could it be that our radar can only be used to scan for UFOs? Such a big UFO let it be down, the helicopter drove over and couldn't see where such a big crashed UFO was, and asked the soldiers to explore the map everywhere, and they could be surrounded by 2-3 enemies without dead angles when they landed, and as soon as they got off the helicopter, they were shot down by reaction shots and one or two soldiers

  2. That sounds like a good idea, but I think that it would be a nice project, to research and go though a number of developments to get the drones you are looking for...!!

  3. I think that would give some interesting variability to crash missions. Have some where you're able to see the whole map ahead of time and even heat signatures for some of the aliens (Meaning you have a drone pack circling overhead that is feeding you real time tactical data. And others where everything is jammed and you're going in blind (Alien's set up an ambush at the landing site) Granted this is supposed to be the 70's, but even then drone tech was a thing, just not like we have today. Allow the more time that goes by before the aliens destroy their craft, the more chances you have of getting ambushed. If I ever get time to mod this game, I think I would want to add a "2020's" style of combat to the missions.
