Doing ok now. I guess the main point is that all starting firearms are entirely useless apart from shotguns. I can throw further and more accurately than I can snipe.. So I switched out for grenades and rockets. Also I'm not used to having to do every crash site. Like the mod so far, guess I'll just have to be more patient and play it on and off.

On some other forum i found out that you need Preator Overmind, but i can't find him. I capture few Preators terror leaders but that's all. Also i think that i am suffering from bug with my tech tech because on phase 4 i capture evey alien unit and theis weapons and still my technology is old-fashioned. i have no sentinel armour and many more cool wepaons and armors. i check the tech tree for mod x-division and i gather everything that i need for them and still nothing. I have many fun playing X-divions mod, very hard but really cool. It was first and last playthrough on this mod and also game. i decided that i wll stop playing this because i can't get any more futher. Big thanks to the authors of mod X-division you guys did amaizing job it was honor for me to play it. Stay strong Charon.

Your entire post is conjecture. Where as, releasing on steam being a loss in profits of catagory 1 customers is a hard fact. As well as, the corresponding "bad sales" in all other catagories. Steam is like youtube, if you are a nobody, don't expect steam/youtube to do anything for you. You are not about to appear on the front page or in any of the listings even for a moment, unless someone is already looking for you. In that case, they'll find you on humble, gog, epic, etc. People like steam because everything is in one place, because it's a monoploy. But while it may have been good for the developers it allowed on its platform in the past. In this age, of the steam greenlight, its not going to do anything for you as a developer. Except cost you money which you have to suck up because your fans "Have all their other games on steam, etc", basically the things being said about FP right now on that reddit.

30% probably felt a lot fairer back in the "good ol' days" when being on Steam was considered a guarantee of success. These days the cup runneth over and many games and developers drown in the deluge. In any case I'm not going to rage over the Epic deal and I'll take advantage of the free dlc but I can understand why people are pissed. Sadly "tech" is full of monopolies and Steam practically is one thus making Epic's strong arm tactics pretty much necessary sadly.
