[V 18 stable - ground combat] damaged assault shield crash

I started a terror site mission with 2 guys with assault shields+plasma pistols+wolf armor. During the battle, one died and the other's shield took a few hits. Now whenever I access the soldier's inventory or end the battle, the game crashes to the desktop.

I got a computer running 64 bit windows 8, an AMD A6-5400K APU with Radeon HD graphics, and 6 GB of ram.

I've had this issue as well, wasn't sure if it was the medkits or the shields in the experimental build. Also once you complete the mission it crashes as well.

Have you been modding your game?

You shouldn't have those shields in the stable steam version as far as I know.

• Combat shield has been disabled, as it has historically been causing crashes in some circumstances. It will be back in all future versions but I'm not going to risk putting it in the Steam "stable release".
