[V19-Experimental/Ground combat] los of unit equipment in second mission

situation: a xenonaut equipped with stun battalion riot-shield, in backpack a shotgun 1 ammo clip for the shotgun and 3 stun grenades.

mission 1: doesn't get shot, stuns a few aliens but due to a stupid commander (aka me) he ended a turn in a gas cloud so he got stunned him self

i finished the mission no one died (light scout mission)

mission 2: cause i downed another UFO close to the first UFO i ordered my Charlie to go there before returning to base.

on arrival i was happy to see my Assault member was back on his feet, but on close inspection he lost all his equipment besides his stun battalion and his armor rendering him "useless" for this mission

i looked around the charlie but his equipment wasn't on the floor,

does this work as intended or something is going wrong?
