Removing women soldiers

I recall at some point there was a way to remove female soldiers by editing a config file.

Is this still possible?

And if so could someone let me know what the file is called and what I need to modify?

Before people launch into an argument I'll simply tell you how to change it so you will only get Male Soldiers.

Go to your Xenonauts folder (Where it is installed) and go into assets.

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Xenonauts\assets

Go down until you find the XML document file called "gameconfig". Now go through the list and near the top you will find a field called "SOLDIER GENERATION VALUABLES", look for the field in that field that says femaleSoldierChance and change the value from 40 to 0. Now you should only get Male soldiers.

I lower the & of woman too (After putting at 100% ), 10% works good.

No womenz!? .. Nothin' hotter than a sexeh woman with a big-ass gun ... In boots ... oooo yah

I put mine at 5%, makes them rare. Feels about right.

I put mine to 20 but still seemed to be getting a bunch when trying to hire new troops, I'll try 10%. I'd like maybe 1 or 2 women per squad but that's it.

You can change their names if you have trouble keeping track of them.

I feel so dirty even suggesting that the women chance be lowered for troops, but it was the cold war.

I do believe that there were more women serving that people would guess, as conscription and the need for bums on seats overpowered sexism. That being said, I'm very sure that number was not %50

This is silly i will put 50 percent for man and woman so it will be a fun party after mission.

This reason is why I enjoy the ease of use in altering values to the game, so people can change small asethitec things to their liking, such as the ratio of Female soldiers they get.

I keep mine at 10%. Feels right.

After reading this, I sent mine to 15% and I added more female names. I hated seeing so many Janes and Barbaras!
