[V8.5 - Groundscape] Machinegun Clipsize

The machinegun ammo capacity is 50 while the clip size is 5. Each clip is effectively a one burst wonder.

Hmmm. I'll try a few things to try and get that fixed up then. Thanks.

To add to this bug: In the playing map the mag size shows as 5/50, while in the inventory it shows as 5/5. If you try to load an extra mag to a full (5/50) gun the mag disappears with no benefit.

Also: If you replace the machine gun (with zero ammo remaining) with a pistol, the machine gun appears in your backpack all loaded up again. Well, with 5 bullets.

That's two other bugs in action. The 'destroy loaded ammo on reload' and 'dropped/put in backpack weapons replenish ammo'

I also get this. When empty and you reload it, it gets 5 ammo again, and uses an entire machine gun ammo clip thingy

Go into your Desura\Common\xenonauts\assets\weapons.xml

Look for the Machine Gun in the weapons list and change the 8th line to 50.

Press save and enjoy 50 clip size, with 5 shot bursts! =)
