[V8.5 - Groundscape] Save/Load Not Working

Hi,

I've just been on crash site mission and saved my progress at several points during the mission. When I went to load one of these saved games the map restarted at the beginning of the mission. Tried it with different saved games with the same result.

This appears to be a complete restart because the aliens spawned in different places.

The map is regenerated upon loading, too. All surviving soldiers are replenished to full health and their weapons are reloaded. Casualties return without their gear.

Saving during Ground Combat also causes the game to stop responding to pressing Esc, rendering the menu inaccessible.

Hmmmm. I wonder if this is something to do with the way we've overwritten the default level settings (which is why you get the same map every time). Give me a bit of time to work out what's happening....
