[v18.3 HF2 - Title] Can't enable explanatory tooltips

When starting a new game, the "explanatory tooltips" checkbox does not work.

It works for me just fine. Can you try it in a different resolution and see if it works?

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, when you first start Xenonauts and click on "new game", I am referring to the checkbox just above "iron man mode". I have tried it in all 4 difficulty levels.

I normally use 1920x1200 full screen, but I also just tested this in 1024x768 both windowed and full screen, and still could not enable it.

I've never been able to enable it either. I use 1280x778, windowed mode.

What resolution are you using, Matthew?

It's never worked for me at 1680x1050 fullscreen, though I still (sometimes) get tooltips in the soldier equip screen.

I've noticed that tool-tips for stuff in the equip screen only show up if you actually have a weapon of that type. Even if the tooltip is just the name of the thing.

Never gotten the checkbox to work either.

Hmm. There will be a new UI that should fix it i think, anyway i send a report about it and tell the coder to take a look at the checkbox.

No need. It's currently disabled, when I asked Chris about it, he told me that for the moment it is fine like that.
