a_beorning Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) I had exactly 100.000. I ordered manufacturing Hunter (cost 100.000, 3 days of work for 10 workers) as soon as it was invented (after research complete popup but before manufacture propose popup). I lost 100k and get a message "not enough funding, manufacture suspended". Next pair of light scouts give me more then 100k, I looked in workshop screen and see "completion 0%, 3 days". Two days later workshop still is in "0%, 3 days". When substract/add workers, ETA changes, but no real work. Only thing I can do is remove project (say good-bye to 100k) and restart it. I sense a strange deja vu: message of "not enough funding" when exact sum paid, no work really done and money disappeared in a thin air - it's a modus operandi of most governmental structures in today's Russia When I have more than 100k, production starts (and completes) normally. Possible cause: 1) somehow project money were checked twice: first when start project, second - after exit to geoscape, manufacture popup, exit to geoscape, trying to really strart project from 0% to 0.01%. Game forgets money was already paid 0 seconds before. 2) troubles when restart from suspension Possible solution: 1) when game spent money for manufacture, completion automatically and immediately sets to 0.000001 (minimal possible value more than 0, much less than 1 man-hour spent), rather than wait for next timer tick. Non-zero completion works as an indicator "money spent, project started". 2) No suspension mode. When project in queue is unpaid (completion 0) and cannot be paid, game just remove all workers from project and disallow to assign workers until there are funds. erutan Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I had something similar in the previous build where I accidentally clicked the number of manufactured corsairs from 1 to 0 and lost $400k and progress. Very very user error on my part, and I have a save to reload from, but it'd be nice if you could only cancel manufacturing with the (x). Quote
