[v18 + Hotfix 2 | Ground Combat] Terror mission has a random teleported thingy

So, I was playing a terror mission (the same one I've gotten every time, from Australia to the Middle East to Brazil, maybe they should have been different maps?) when I walked behind a building and stumbled upon an odd find.

As I walked behind the building, my soldier got warped/teleported in a swirl of blue energy to the tile adjacent. I have some screenshots to show what I mean.

It's on the terror map where you start in the lower left corner of the map, there's a diner thing across the street to the north, and a park with a central monument thing across the street to the east. There's also a bus parked on the street running sw to ne.

Yep, seen this too, but haven't been able to get screenshots of it. Its the town map with the single cube monument (opposed to the multi-cube one).

It's a somewhat terrifying bug as the civvies run through it all the time and it sounds like Reapers or >spoilers<.

Yeah, I got freaked out the first few times I heard it, but I never knew what it was. That is, until I tried walking down that alley way. I just hit the screenshot button repeatedly while moving, and I caught a frame of it.

I thought I had just accidentally spawned alien reinforcements back when I first heard it. On a terror mission, that's not a good thing to think.

Can't find this in the maps for the latest build, so I assume the programmer has cleaned up after himself. Report it as a bug if it's still happening in V18.3 please.

I've also seen this problem in the terror mission map. It's almost an easter egg.

In order to capture a screenshot when the game is running in full screen mode, the Steam overlay can be used. Launch the game from within Steam, then press F12. It will capture a nice screenshot of the game, even if it is running in fullscreen mode.

can confirm a similar bug in a terror site i had in europe.

I'm playing the 18.3 HF2 standalone version.

I can also confirm this bug for 18.3 HF2. Think it was the same area as you can see in the screenshots in the first post.
