[18.1 + hotfix combat] soldiers cannot see 16 tiles w/ a light source @ night

afaik Soldiers see 16 tiles during the day, 14 at night. I tossed a light stick at the end of my visual range, but I couldn't see into the "lit" area. This may have changed the next turn, I'll pay a bit more attention now that I've found this.

also semi-related, spotting but not being able to target aliens at night sucks.

I've noticed this too. But if the soldier steps a tile closer, it becomes "revealed" to them. Something wonky is going on with updating their viewrange with the new light source I'd wager.
