17.9 can't load savegame - CTD

Just trying new build and can't load savegame after my 1st ufo down - even autosave1 is corrupted.

Standalone version, deleted the whole (game) directory, than unrar a new game, old saves deleted from in-game menu and completely new game started.

I have changed default gear for attackers and position of soldiers in chinook. Than shot down 1st ufo and sent chinook. Can't remember any other difference between good and bad save.

I also have broken saves when a ufo or crashsite is on the geoscape.

I can't load my normal savegame either.

Are you trying to load a save game from a previous build? Save game compatibility might cause issues.

Never try to use an old savegame with a new client. It's bound to either crash, or worse, load and be terribly messed up.

for me the same.

neew game clean install for version 17.9.

And no savegame in combat works.

After load all persons: my soldier, alliens, civilians in the left cornner of Map.

I have test it with desura and the standalone version.

Same here, new game, clean install (desura client not stand alone)

For me the game even crashes if you try to open the save game window on ground combat.
