Gauddlike Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Someone put together a few mock ups of how it would really look with distorted radar coverage shapes to mimic real world ranges and to be honest it looked crap More realistic maybe, hard to look at and make sense of when playing though. Keeping the maps consistent means when you look at the distance between your craft and the enemy it doesn't matter where they are, you can always make a pretty good assumption of their chance to engage. If the range is different, even though it looks the same on the screen, then you remove that consistency. Quote
