PRiME Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 1) So I was playing in a open grass field UFO crash map and noticed there is no grass-walking sounds for many Civ/Mil units, additionally when military units shot at aliens you could not hear rifle go off, only when alien was hit could you hear impact. 2) The cement blockade still renders above the soldier when the solder is in-front of it, figured this be easy to fix? 3) In several UFO matches I noticed the Military units having unlimited TU, this goes along with bug 1 above. The Military Unit will fire at the Alien until its dead, this can take quite sometime. Once alien is dead the military unit ends its turn. I played one mission in a field where half the aliens were killed by Military (thanks guys) LOL Quote
Gauddlike Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I would assume 1 and 2 are down to tiles not being fully set up yet. That should be fixed over the next few months, probably faster once the new cartographer starts full time. Quote
PRiME Posted July 4, 2012 Author Posted July 4, 2012 The sound bug isn't consistent and I believe it only happens on the Terror Mission that glitches out and has no buildings. I could be wrong as only had it occur couple times so far. I took a few screenshots last night of the tile order issue and it also happens at doors, some windows, and a few other places. LeftyRighty Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 There are two types of grass... the "default" where nothing has been placed in the map/submapeditor and the deliberate "grass" placed when editing the map/submap... I think the big open field might be all default grass. Ie the default grass is missing some attributes, but placed grass has the attributes set. Quote
