Xenonauts Spoiled Me

After playing yall's game, X-Com just isn't the same. It kindof sucks. So many things are outdated and/or missing. I think yall have done an excellent game so far, can't wait to see the finished product.

I have to agree. I tried playing the original again and just couldn't... Dunno, just didn't feel the same anymore, couldn't bare the graphics for too long... That's really crazy, back in the old days it was the best graphics ever lol

I'm on the other side of the fence on this one. I still enjoy EU. On balance I'd say it was still a better experience than Xnauts. Considering where Xnauts is in development, that's not much of a surprise.

It's not entirely fair to compare at this point in development. In therms of graphics its ofc xeno that wins, but in therms of AI for example i still think Xeno way behind X-COM (wich is normal since its still not even ready on that part aswel).

Also, i don't realy like the Xeno animations so far. Not sure if they are still unfinished or already final but the Xeno soldiers feel "odd" while walking, shooting, etc.

The art-style on xeno is miles ahead of X-com tough, i realy like the retro-style and the artist behind the screens is brilliant imho, very very distinctive.

I still play the original from time to time. The atmosphere and the type of graphics that forces imagination entices me. And of course the loud sound effects, the footsteps in the distance and a distant door creeking.

The thing that bugs me the most is the interface. An accidental click on an empty floor caused casualties.
