    Chivalry

Chivalry is a first person slasher that only looks awesome.

Its set in some fantasy made up place but who cares when you can chop up and mash people with a pretty badass weaponry. And there's objectives like village raids (burn down the village, kill peasants etc) castle/fort assaults. But, most importantly, is the extremely deep close combat.

I do not believe there will be single player campaign, since its designed to be a multiplayer game but you can have battle against and with bots. And its still in alpha too. And they won't let me give them money because theres no pre ordering yet

Since we're doing medieval sims, might as well throw this in...

I prefer Chivalry's fps over WotR 3rd person view. And I don't think I saw any decapitations or any limb removal. But WotR has horse riding which Chivalry doesn't, although Chivalry's parry/blocking system looks more sophisticated.

Can't say I liked the look of the combat. And no mounted archery. Mount & Blade (Bow in my case) for the win.
    I would if I could, but I can't, so I won't.

I haven't followed Chivalry, but i have spent quite some time checking War of the roses (i don't know why, but i like Paradoxes forums :P) and if anyone wants some more information about WoR: they did a live stream not long ago:
    -http://www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive/b/319842282 (first 30 minutes)
    -http://www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive/b/319847736 (another hour )

They are talking (and showing off) mostly custumization (the is a little bit missing between the two parts, since they had some trouble with the stream)

WoTR looks quite nice. Gotta stick it up to those Lannist...err Lancastrians.

WotR is using the the same combat system as M&B which I find dull and clunky, that's why I'm more interested in Chivalry where you can direct attacks from any direction instead of just left, right, above and thrust.

I played the Age of Chivalry mod, which was great, but once I was invited to Warband Beta I couldent go back to Age of Chiv, I still play Warband to this day and it is my most played game, I don't like the way WotR looks... I will definately be buying Chivalry and enjoying it, but doubt I can get the same amount of enjoyment as I have from Warband.
