Jean-Luc
Yes, it was an attempt to sum up the content of the article in two sentences... Figured as much. The misquote actually does a better job of conveying the overall sentiment of the article since the game is presented as an exception to the author's skepticism about remakes as the original sentence is not meant to stand alone and out of context but contrast the rest of the article. Had the article been negative or even merely indifferent/doubtful I'd have taken issue with it as well but as it is....it's one of those "laugh or cry" moments. Think I'm going to visit the Wasteland 2 forum now and read about how the initial concept art doesn't have enough 80's references to make myself forget about this. Chris
Just to clarify though - I can however see why people would object to it.
wiglafman1225
Thank you for the quick response. Editing quotes is always wrong --- whether or not the author objects to it --- and I am happy you have fixed the issue!
Mandabar
Just to clarify though - I can however see why people would object to it. All It seems you need now, is for Alec to add 2 words to his old article. "It Has" To get back the tone from the was to is fiasco. It does seem to change the tone a bit more negative, and I agree to not misquote. Though it did actual fit the tone of the article better. Lolz, whateverz
