Chester1994
For some reason my xenonauts seem to be retarded and they shoot their teammates even when crouched. It´s easy to avoid friendlyfire manually, but when it´s the alien turn sometimes my soldiers don´t care and shoot their teammates. It´s not realistic, it´s not useful, it´s annoying. Can this be disabled somehow? I am using X Division btw.
kabill
If you want to stop this, you either need to make sure that your units are positioned where they won't fire past one another when taking reaction shots, or else deplete a soldier's TUs so they don't have enough TUs to fire. Chris
The crouching thing only works (i.e. totally prevents friendly fire) if the crouching soldier is in an adjacent tile to the shooter - if they aren't then all it does is make the other soldier less likely to be hit. If it's still happening even in adjacent tiles, that sounds like a bug ... but X-division isn't an official product so it's not really something we can help with unfortunately. Brandon18101
At the start of the game they state how bullet proof vests are useless against plasma and as such are not available. But won't BP vests help negate some of the damage of friendly fire during the ballistic stage? Might be something to add in the future. Chris
I seem to recall they actually already do, as your soldiers are somewhat more resistant to ballistic damage than most of the aliens are.
