[V1.59 Geoscape] Going to a base vehicle tab crashes the game (Win 10)

No mods installed, going to base vehicle tab just crashes the game.. I seem to be able to do everything else find. Even finished ground combat.

Moreover, I recently installed Win 10 so maybe that can be the cause.

Or the fact that I haven't played in since Nov 2014 (old save games are not compatible with newer patches?)

I also did steam integrity check, reinstalled the game and deleted config.

Specs:

i7 3770

780 GTX (driver v353.62)

16gb ram

game running drive is 3tb

running it in windowed 1680x1050

desk reso 3440x1440
