Submariner Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 I have played XCOM and a useful feature during battles is the ability to pan the camera in 90 degree increments. This often makes it easier to see things. I did not find a pan camera feature described in the rule book or key options. Does this ability exist in the game? If not, how does one better see aliens that are sometimes blocked by walls, fences, etc. because the camera is not in the best position? kabill Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 There's no way to rotate the camera; if something is in the way then you just have to muddle through. I think the Community Edition mod improves this somewhat by increasing transparency in certain situations but it's so long since I played vanilla that these features may well be in v1.59 too. Chris Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Press the button with the little roof on it (next to the inventory button) and it toggles through different view modes.
