A modder's wish

I have little hope I will be heard, but I have an idea: Could Goldhawk release scrapped in-game artwork (like the unused units) so the community could use them? Its a strange feeling to think the files could be saved somewhere to never be used.

At least think about it.

The scrapped in-game artwork for the abandoned weapons and planes is already in the game folders, I think. For the units they were scrapped at the concept stage so we never got animated sprites for them done (which was the expensive / time consuming part), so they're not in a state to be used unfortunately.

Thanks for answering. But maybe I don't need fully animated sprites for all of them? Right now I'm thinking about uses for that single Andron Juggernaut sprite. Of course I could mirror it then have 2 sprites, and that is basically enough to have it as a static boss, sitting in his command room waiting to shoot anyone who opens the door he is facing. So unless you tell me that is the only existing sprite for that unit, you could probably help me.

Chris, can we have 3D models of the GC ufos, if you allow us? It whould be much easier to create new ufos with textures.

On that topic. Aaron's Blender template does not include all camera angles for units and vehicles. It would be nice to have those.
