weapon.grenade.somethingmelee not working

I am on CE 0.32 and porting over an earlier mod to use the modular mods method.

However my weapon.grenade.knife and others crash the game when entering GC.

I have tried other weapons to make sure there were no typos etc, however all is fine but none of them will work without crashing the game...

Nothing useful in the logs either, any ideas?

You are using the -modmerge switch when running Xeno, right?

Funnily enough, I wasn't.

I just had the -modinfo switch, however all my other modded weapons worked just not the weapon.grenade.<something> ones that are melee.

I added the -modmerge switch on the end but it does not make any difference, it still crashes if I equip a weapon.grenade.<something> modded weapon and enter ground combat.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Xenonauts\Xenonauts.exe" -modinfo -modmerge
