Xenonauts V1.55 Stable Released!

We've just released a further hotfix for Xenonauts, patching out a few more of the annoyances in the game:

  • Fixed another AI hidden movement hang, this one linked to an incomplete animation
  • Further fixes to the Carrier map to prevent Harridans flying inside the UFO hull and sniping down at you
  • A fix to the mod manager not remembering changes made to mod list if you exited the launcher without loading up the game

This is currently only available on Windows and on Steam; if there's no massive issues reported in the next 24-48 hours then we'll roll it out to the other platforms and distribution sites.

We've also reverted the Steam Mac version back to V1.09 as it seems people were having some issues with the new version crashing. We'll test the next Mac update a bit more thoroughly (it's kinda hard for us to do this as we don't work on Macs) before putting it out again.

We've also got a couple more fixes to make to the mod launcher and we're still looking into some alien base mission loading issues, so it's likely there will also be a V1.56 coming at some point (hopefully this week).
