Game crash if no army is present at base attack

As the title says, i experienced a crash of the game just when a alien force attacked my third base which had living quarters and general store. I was just waiting for troops to arrive to but the aliens arrived first and attacked the base. Got the screen "no troops at base" (or something like that) and then it crashed. Anyways, thanks for a great game, it's really what i always wanted, since Xcom Ufo defense, the first game.
