Mods?? Are they easy to install?

I have the game on steam getting bored with same maps . I haven't finished game yet . I would like to try the best and easiest mod out there and also if I do load mod will it add additional maps on to current game or will I have to start over

If you want mods, click on mods. Most have txt files with instructions and/or self installers. There's also an option

called "mods" when you start the game up. Maps, though, have their own section.

The 'mods' section on the launcher isn't very useful unless you're running the community edition mod.

@Jamie: Most of the mods are pretty easy to use/install. They're literally copy-paste jobs. In terms of maps, you can add in a map pack and you will be fine to continue an existing game. With mods, you can do this in some instances but are probably best starting from scratch.
