Small feature request - incoming soldiers

Would it be possible to have soldiers that have been hired but have not yet arrived appear on the soldiers list? I ask this as the current game I'm playing, my troops are dying like flies and I find it very hard to keep track if I've hired troops or not when I need to replace dead troops as there is currently no way to check.

The most straightforward implementation I can think of is to have the hired soldier appear on the soldier management list as soon as they are hired but have their assignment as "ETA-2 days" or something like that. It would be nice to have the ETA count down as well.

I agree. Any feature helping in managing incoming 'staff' would be welcome.

Brilliant. Instead of "ETA-2 days", go for hours. Some days, you'll wait two hours to have another batch of troops arrive to head to the meat grinder. ;-)

I second this. Same would be helpful for soldiers being on transit between bases.

X:CE now shows that in the soldier hire screen, just like it's done for scientists and engineers (the number in parentheses after the total number of soldiers). I think 1.5 might not have picked up this change though.
