DarkMajor21 Posted June 5, 2014 Share Posted June 5, 2014 So I noticed that there are Russian weapon images in one of the files and I found I can replace the other weapon images to use these instead except then the problem seems to be that their are no ingame animations for these weapons. So is there a way that I could use the new gun sprites whilst my soldiers are deployed? (I found some for the AK in the units folder but when I used them it would glitch up in game.) For instance when I moved my guy he would split into two separate frames that would glitch back and forth(also happens when shooting). In-order to implement the AK including the animations, All I did was change 1 word of coding in the assets/item.xml file, weapon.ak47, from "Normal" to "Unlimited". Well, such weapon never existed on large scale, it was some some prototypes among other AK prototypes. The first one was just AK, the one around xenonauts timeline is AK-74 or AKM, the most modern one is yet another one but who cares. Max_Caine Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 The game idenfities it as weapon.ak47 but you can rename it in strings.xml to the Hammer of Zillyhoo.
