That's a good point, you would never want the AI to be predictable, sometimes they should make decisions that will seem stupid because in a different situation that might have thrown you off and...
Seems like a good start but I'll wait and see how it develops with more time as I got plenty of other stuff to play right now anyway so I don't feel in any rush to jump on it right away :P
Reading that made me realize that most of the small things that were nagging at me had to do with loss of control in one way or another.. I do think that streamlining was taken to the extreme and...
Same reason for me that I can't fully enjoy it, small issues constantly that just nag at me, generally if it's just a few things I might forget about it after a while but when you keep getting...
Having a hard time really enjoying the game personally, there are just so so many small things that bug me constantly and I'm not sure if I can get to the point where I can ignore them... Hopefully I...
I think a lot of the overly heated arguments are caused by misunderstandings, it's very hard to convey your tone when writing something on the internet and people seem to naturally assume the worst...
It will without a doubt be interesting to see how the game "feels" and I'm not assuming or expecting anything specific at this point, I'll take the game for what it is and hopefully I'll enjoy it :)
Personally I don't think that enemy unknown will give the same sense of dread as the original did, mostly because the game makes it feel so much more "action-y" with small cut scenes from moves/shots...
Well some people just don't want to learn, they are perfectly happy with their current opinion even if it's based on completely incorrect information and if you try to impact that opinion in any way...
It would be pretty cool if you could save a replay of a game where it cut away all the "turn time" and made it into a cinematic type experience :D
Woooo I just beat the game on normal! The Osprey ftw!
Actually even had hull to spare, super lucky run in general and not expecting to repeat this anytime soon :D
So I figured there needed to be a Borderlands 2 thread here so here is one! Who else is looking forward to it?
I also have to vent a little because of frustrations, Borderlands 2 isn't getting...
Personally I always say do what is most efficient and causes the least amount of extra time and/or results in a better end product :) Never rush anything for short-term gain if it hurts anything...
GMG charge me in $ and I am from Sweden. May vary depending on where you are from I guess.
From what I saw in the xcom videos it looked like suppression got a free hit on the target you were suppressing when it moved, not sure about any other penalties as it wasn't obvious. I could be...
I agree that it seemed like a pointless feature to have the guy constantly shoot, would make more sense that he fired a few rounds and then stood in position to take a shot when he moved (since you...
Yes but see the thing is a lot of places in Europe generally has lower prices then that in their retail stores but they still are forced to pay that higher price just because they are part of the EU...
I would if steam didn't have unbelievably stupid pricing so they can only blame them self :P
You get the key when it's released, not right away. This is also mentioned on the game page: "Pre-Order now to receive the Elite Soldier Pack DLC, included at no additional charge."
Indeed GMG gives you a steam key, in fact the whole game as far as I can tell is steamwork based I think?
Dunno about you but I played a whole bunch of Daggerfall pretty recently, had a blast.....
Yeaaa I'm not going to pay 49.99€ ($63) for that on steam, I refuse to buy games on steam when they are priced stupidly because of euro prices translating 1:1 with dollars. I'll grab it from a...
Yes I will also be getting the xcom game (and I obviously already have xenonauts) and I think they are different enough to not overlap in a bad way in their experience.
Xenonauts will be a much...
I'll probably enjoy xcom I think but probably not as much as xenonauts from what I have seen, they look like they'll be similar but still very different in their experience.
I found something interesting regarding the whole "piracy is stealing" debate. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dowling_v._United_States_(1985)
So from what I understood about that is that in the eyes...
