I really wouldn't put too much stock in the diorama either way. It's just a very hasty improvisation to compensate for the lack of "game" to show. Wouldn't be surprised if JAF ended up looking...
I did pledge to this eventually. It's not looking good but crazy comebacks have happened before so we'll see.
Either way the devs must be disappointed, I think they expected a much better...
Damn, I wanted to complain now. Ah well...
It's worth it if it's on sale and you have a craving for turn based tactics. The game's quite forgettable though (imo).

Not bad and they're quite easy to "read" which is important. DM's are a bit problematic when it comes to intuitiveness imo.
I think that was Patton.
As I've mentioned before the early UFOs could be made more challenging if missiles caused overkill a lot more forcing the player to use missiles only to damage the scout UFOs and then finish them off...
Looks great in the vid imo, only needs to be aligned properly if possible.
That's Asia Yeti, not Europe. :p I know Russia/USSR is often thought of as a European country but only a small part of it is actually in it (Europe). Best to think of it as Eurasian.
Yeah, sorry for the inattention. It's easy to get lost in the sea of threads here and miss some new stuff. I won't be playing X-nauts until release so it's hard for me to get into these things right...
Seen the entire show after, ironically, finding out about it on this very forum long ago.
I wouldn't call it sexism, it's just a bit of short skirtism and Gabrielle Drake total hottism. :p
They're perfectly safe actually, at least the popular ones like uTorrent.
Sure, I've pledged to every inXile and Obsidian KS based pretty much on things like it's gonna be kinda like Baldurs Gate and the IE games, postnuclear RPG and it's gonna be kinda like Planescape:...
It's like they're reading my posts though I expect there's a lot of people asking the same questions.
The problem is they're not really sure about anything which is to be expected since they...
Some "new" info, TB also gives a mention to Xenonauts: http://youtu.be/Lnd7zYAJako?t=10m42s
Technically it would be piracy so from the perspective of those who make/sell the game it's obviously not ok.
On a more personal level I'd say pirating a game you already own on the same...
Yeah, the licensing thing is clearer now but I'm still gonna be a jerk and hold back my gold coins.
They're being fiddly with the action point system. On one hand they don't want to go the xcom...
Better to see you with my dear.
Ok, sorry. :p
The base management thing might not be so bad. JA2 made a pretty big leap compared to JA1 in this regard. JA2 didn't exactly have a base but the whole map was your base in a sense and there was a lot...
Wait, this was (potentially) removed? Oh c'mon Chris. :(
I'm both quite excited and suspicious about this.
Their game portfolio doesn't seem very impressive and I'm doubtful whether they can replicate the design genius of JA2.
Also how can they claim...
I heard there's an English text mod that makes the story comprehensible.
I've no idea what plans Gijs-Jan has for local forces AI but I've been thinking about the "fear grid" that's he's talked about that influences civilian behaviour making them avoid danger and seek...
